How to Get Rid of Dark Spots on the Face

2: Lemon juice

  • Combine one teaspoon of lemon juice with two teaspoons of yogurt.

3: Tomatoes

How to apply-

  • Utilize tomato pulp on the skin.
  • Then, massage your skin gently using a circular motion.
  • Give it 10 minutes to sit.
  • Rinse with purified water. 

4: Turmeric

Since ancient times, Indians have used turmeric for its culinary and medicinal properties. Turmeric is an indispensable component of any skincare routine. The presence of curcumin aids in reducing skin melanin production. Curcumin is an antioxidant that inhibits melanogenesis. It might make the dark spots lighter and clear up your skin.

How to apply-

  • Combine one tablespoon of turmeric with sufficient water.
  • Mix it thoroughly and apply.
  • Apply on the face using a cotton pad.
  • Allow it to run for 15 to 25 minutes.
  • Rinse the object with water.

5: Cucumber

It is an excellent source of antioxidants, vitamins, and silica-rich compounds that reduce facial hyperpigmentation. 

How to apply-

  • Blend some fresh cucumbers.
  • Put the paste on the area of the skin that hurts and let it sit for 20 minutes.
  • Cold water is to be used as a final rinse. 

6. Aloe Vera

It is a well-known treatment for problems with the skin and hair. It is a naturally occurring substance renowned for its soothing and moisturizing properties. Aloe Vera contains 99.5% water, which helps miraculously hydrate your skin.

  • Apply pure aloe vera juice to the dark facial spots.
  • The gel can be extracted from an aloe vera leaf.
  • Let it sit on the affected area for twenty to thirty minutes.
  • It should be washed in warm water. 

7. Yogurt

It is a natural skin brightener that helps remove dark spots on the face. It is abundant in lactic acid, which reduces discoloration and age spots. Additionally, it helps improve skin tone, texture, and inflammation. You can use yogurt by itself or in combination with other medicinal substances, such as turmeric or oatmeal.

  • Utilize cotton swabs to apply yogurt to the dark spots.
  • Allow it to sit for 15 to 25 minutes before rinsing.

8: Red lentils

Powdered red lentil (Masoor dal) is an effective treatment for facial hyperpigmentation. They are abundant in antioxidants that are beneficial for the skin. However, additional scientific research is required to confirm the effect. 

How to apply-

  • Soak some red lentils in a bowl of water overnight.
  • Blend it to a fine paste consistency.
  • Apply the paste for 20 minutes to your face.
  • Rinse the substance with cold water.
  • There are numerous remedies for removing stubborn dark spots.
  • However, before using any home remedies for allergic reactions, you must conduct a test.
  • If you experience any discomfort, stinging, or burning, rinse the mixture off with lukewarm water immediately.
